About the position

The Senior Client Advisor role at Oracle involves engaging with strategic clients to provide thought leadership and recommendations on process, capability, and technology changes. This position requires a deep understanding of business processes across various functions and the ability to translate customer objectives into actionable strategies. The advisor acts as a trusted partner, collaborating with internal teams to execute account strategies and drive transformation for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop thought leadership, tools, and methods on 'case for change'.
  • Gain trusted advisor status by understanding the customer's business and co-developing strategies.
  • Engage in value selling and articulate value propositions.
  • Identify business challenges and architect solutions using the Oracle portfolio.
  • Act as an expert and evangelist for Oracle solutions and digital transformation.
  • Maintain up-to-date product and technical knowledge of the Oracle portfolio.
  • Communicate effectively with customers at all levels, from C-Suite to line managers.
  • Lead strategic discussions focused on value rather than features.
  • Architect and orchestrate large multi-product pursuits.
  • Define messaging and orchestrate demos to showcase value.
  • Identify sweet spot opportunities in accounts and drive programs with compelling value propositions.
  • Influence partners to lead with Oracle solutions and co-develop deal economics linked to business benefits.
  • Work closely with sales teams on account planning and winning strategies.
  • Assemble and lead a multi-discipline team to execute win strategies and themes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Advisory, Solution architecture, and Value Engineering experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or similar experience is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise business software (ERP, SCM, HCM, CX, PaaS, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of business processes across finance, procurement, supply chain, HR, marketing, sales, and service.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, especially with senior audiences.
  • Ability to work independently from various locations including home and Oracle offices.

Nice-to-haves

  • Industry experience in Retail, CPG, or Life Sciences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills such as leadership, teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
  • Knowledge of architectural approaches.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive goals and deliver on commitments.
