About The Position

ICF is seeking an experienced Senior Change Management Specialist to join our Business Transformation Office (BTO) — a central team driving strategic corporate initiatives across the organization. In this role, you will partner with operational, technical, and functional leaders to design and implement change strategies that drive adoption, alignment, and long-term success across the organization. This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to collaborate with senior leaders and contribute directly to ICF’s corporate transformation journey. This position is based out of our Reston, Virginia headquarters and follows a hybrid work schedule, with an expectation of working on‑site several days per week and the remainder remotely.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience applying change management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Working knowledge of project management principles and frameworks
  • Experience with large system implementations
  • Ability to explain complex or technical concepts in an easily understandable written format
  • Ability to operate and adapt in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous, work environment
  • Proven ability to develop organization-wide communications and training materials
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build and maintain productive partnerships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, and Visio

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting change management activities involving suppliers, vendors, or third-party partners (e.g., onboarding, invoicing, or registration processes)
  • Experience supporting procurement or contract management system implementations
  • Experience leading stakeholder journey mapping sessions and facilitating focus groups

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key member of the Business Transformation team, supporting enterprise-wide change initiatives from planning through execution
  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive change management strategies for large, complex corporate programs
  • Partner with cross-functional teams—including operational, technical, and functional subject matter experts—to ensure alignment and successful adoption
  • Facilitate leadership meetings and stakeholder focus groups to gather insights, build engagement, and drive alignment
  • Develop and deliver effective communications and training materials, including job aids, toolkits, and surveys
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications and project teams to deliver clear, consistent messaging on program milestones and impacts
  • Maintain and continuously improve a repository of change management tools, resources, and best practices
  • Build strong relationships across the organization and engage with executive leadership to support strategic initiatives
