About the position

The Senior Buyer at Worley is responsible for administering the procurement process, which includes planning, issuing RFQs and Purchase Orders, bid tabulation, claims resolution, and procurement strategy development. This role requires effective communication and coordination with various teams and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and managing commercial risks associated with quotations and purchase orders.

Responsibilities

• Administers the procurement process, including planning, RFQ and Purchase Order formation and issuance, bid tabulation, claims resolution, administration and closeout.
• Participates in procurement strategy development and implementation.
• Provides primary support to the Project Procurement Manager (PPM).
• Identifies and advises PPM of commercial risks inherent in quotations and purchase orders.
• Conducts PSR meetings with SCM team, Project Management, and Customer as necessary.
• Oversees the NDA process, including review of redlines and obtaining necessary signatures.
• Coordinates invoice approvals.

Requirements

• BA or BS, or equivalent, preferred but not required.
• 6 - 8 years minimum in supply chain management or related field, with specific experience in procurement.
• C.P.M. certification is desirable.
