Senior blockchain, Rust, backend architecture engineers

About the position

OleOle is developing a completely free social network and messaging app for football (Soccer), focusing on in-match gambling driven by live score updates. The company aims to empower users to easily plan football-related trips without the hassle of extensive searches. The Lead Developer will play a crucial role in designing and creating the platform's architectural design, roadmap, and functional requirements. The company is currently offering deferred compensation until funding is secured, and is looking for candidates willing to join this adventure.

Responsibilities

• Design and create the platform architectural design.
• Develop the roadmap and functional requirements for the platform.
• Lead multiple teams working on various components of the project.
• Ensure high-performance services through Rust expertise.
• Optimize API performance and manage high throughput traffic.
• Implement security practices and ensure data integrity.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in backend development with strong Rust expertise.
• Experience with Rust-based web frameworks such as Actix, Rocket, or Tide.
• Proficient in designing RESTful APIs and familiar with GraphQL.
• Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with authentication protocols like OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
• 3-5 years of experience in frontend development using frameworks like React or Vue.
• 3-5 years of experience in mobile development for iOS and Android.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in blockchain development and smart contract creation.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency regulations and compliance.
• Understanding of football and international sports.
