About the position

The Senior Associate in Wealth Management provides service to financial advisors across various channels including wirehouse, regional broker-deal, IDB, RIA, bank trust, and multifamily office. This role involves working closely with Regional Consultants to maintain and cultivate relationships, supporting the development of new business, and addressing inquiries and account issues related to investment products. The position emphasizes an inclusive culture and values diversity in support of both employees and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Grows sales and activity within assigned territory by contacting financial advisors regularly and managing the sales process.
  • Supports Regional Consultants in developing new business and servicing existing relationships.
  • Maintains and records all activities within CRM, Salesforce.
  • Utilizes data and technology to identify specific markets, firms, and financial advisors to increase penetration and overall market share.
  • Converse knowledgeably with financial advisors about investment solutions and current economic and market conditions.
  • Provides superior service and support to financial advisors by responding to requests and resolving account issues.
  • Responds to daily telephone inquiries on performance and position of funds and managed accounts.
  • Cultivates and maintains relationships with select group of focus advisors 'Emerging Advisors'.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding annual territory sales goals and ranking in top quartile of annual territory sales rankings.
  • Proven track record of developing deep relationships with clients and Emerging Advisors to raise assets.
  • Experience selling or marketing investment products required.
  • Minimum 1 year of similar experience.
  • Consistently exceeds the goal set for quality contacts.
  • Shows consistent sales leadership in new products as they are launched and maintains a diversified business mix.
  • Mastery of investment products and research.
  • Proficiency in aligning investment solutions with partner firm's research.
  • Bachelor's degree (MBA a plus).
  • Series 7 license preferred; if Series 6, obtain Series 7 within three months.
  • Five years' experience within Financial Services.
  • Demonstrates inclusive behaviors in support of a culture that values diverse perspectives.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Salesforce, data and analytics a plus.
  • Treats others with respect and consideration.
  • Must be able and willing to work in a team-oriented environment.

Benefits

  • Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $85,000
