Responsibilities

• Provide project management oversight for engineering projects.
• Consult on environmental, infrastructure, and geomatic projects.
• Evaluate and approve designs and plans according to codes and regulations.
• Supervise and mentor lower-level technical and professional staff.
• Communicate with clients and regulatory bodies regarding project feasibility and compliance.
• Interpret construction plans, specifications, and regulations.
• Ensure environmental compliance during project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an applicable field of engineering from an accredited institution.
• Three years of progressively responsible experience in engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction methods.
• Experience in contract administration functions including estimates and claims.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Hicams, Sharepoint, and GIS software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in training and coordinating the work of other employees.
• Familiarity with survey instruments and procedures.
• Strong customer service skills related to engineering concepts.
