About the position

The Senior Application Analyst at NeighborHealth plays a crucial role in analyzing end-user requirements and improving existing computer applications to enhance work processes. This position involves assisting the Project Manager in evaluating, developing, and implementing new computer systems and projects for the health center. The analyst acts as a liaison between end-user departments and software vendors to resolve application-related issues and manages assigned projects independently. This is a full-time position with 80% remote work flexibility, operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze end-user requirements and procedures to automate work processes or improve existing applications.
  • Assist the Project Manager in evaluating, developing, and implementing new computer systems and projects.
  • Act as a liaison between end-user departments and software vendors to resolve application-related problems.
  • Manage assigned projects independently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, health science, or business; Master's Degree and/or management experience preferred.
  • At least two years of Analyst Healthcare IT support experience.
  • Epic Certification Required: Cadence and/or Referrals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to learn new applications quickly.
  • Ability to analyze business problems and knowledge of process re-design and re-engineering.
  • Domain knowledge in a clinical or healthcare business area.
  • Self-directed learner with proven organizational skills.
  • Ability to think broadly and manage details.
  • Project Management skills.
