About the position

As part of our commitment to improve associate safety and reduce accidents in our facilities as well as guarantee the continuity of operations, this position joins a team of safety experts that makes sure our stores follow OSHA legal requirements and responds to regulatory contacts. This position will be fully onsite in Bentonville, AR.

Responsibilities

• Receive and coordinate OSHA regulatory contacts in our stores and clubs.
• Receive, analyze, investigate, and respond to OSHA Complaints, OSHA document requests, and rapid response investigations derived from regulatory visits or requests.
• Establish a proactive communication with federal and state government officials to resolve regulatory contacts in our facilities.
• Investigate and support our operational team in stores and clubs to resolve regulatory contacts.
• Identify and assess new potential hazards for our associates.
• Coordinate compliance of state-level injury and illness plans.
• Proactive participation in the design, improvement and implementation of Occupational Health and Safety standards and controls.
• Support our facilities by responding Safety Compliance Tickets.
• Perform Occupational Health and Safety investigations throughout the enterprise.
• Analyze and leverage data integration to produce program metrics and identify corrective systemic solutions.
• Support and participate in cross-functional projects and interactions with other areas in the Company.
• Complete invoice payments for fines and consulting services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field OR 2 years' experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area.

• Safety certifications.
• Experience in safety programs in retail.
• Experience managing regulatory contacts/ inspections.
• Skills for data management and analytic.
• Experience with Walmart Systems: Enviance, Reach, payment systems, OneWalmart, etc.
• Project management certification.
• Detail-oriented and well organized.
