About The Position

The Senior Analyst, Regulatory Advocacy, Global Regulatory Relations provides support to help the team identify and track emerging regulations and regulators’ supervisory priorities, and to compile insights on industry discussions on supervisory and regulatory matters that impact the Bank. The role also supports coordination of the Bank’s membership and participation in industry associations by maintaining trackers and distribution lists, and compiling updates to help elevate the Bank’s profile, gather insights, and support the team’s thought leadership efforts. The role will also help shape the team’s usage of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. The Senior Analyst will provide administrative and coordination support to the Regulatory Advocacy pillar, as directed by the Global Regulatory Relations (GRR) mandate and strategy.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a coordination, or analyst support role (financial services, government, legal, or professional services experience is an asset)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft clear emails and format documents for an internal audience
  • Strong organization, follow-up, and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple requests and competing deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and comfort working with shared document repositories and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint; Power BI is a nice to have)
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Political Science, Public Policy, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong interest in financial and regulatory policy

Responsibilities

  • Maintain trackers and dashboards of new and changing regulatory requirements in the consultation stage (e.g., log key dates, owners, status, and required actions).
  • Stay abreast of regulatory news and insights and input into the central repository (e.g. Sharepoint) for GRR News output.
  • Support consultation coordination by preparing distribution lists, circulating consultation materials, tracking stakeholder input, and following up on outstanding items.
  • Monitor relevant publications (e.g., speeches, reports, webinars) and compile summaries, key takeaways, and links for team review.
  • Provide support for advocacy/response activities by organizing reference materials and maintaining a central repository (e.g., SharePoint) for consultation responses, position papers, and related documentation.
  • Support the Bank’s membership and participation in industry associations by tracking memberships lists, maintaining contact lists, coordinating registrations, and organizing related materials.
  • Assist with drafting and formatting internal communications and reports (e.g., regulatory news highlights, briefings, and presentations).
  • Support team communications by monitoring the Regulatory Advocacy inbox, triaging requests, maintaining email folders, and ensuring timely follow-up with owners.
  • Support continuous improvement of internal processes using technology.
