About the position

Senior Analyst, Insurance Management will be responsible for insurance data management in the risk management system, claims reporting, invoice processing and the oversight of insurance compliance through supervision of external certificate tracking service.

Responsibilities

• Accurately input, manage, and maintain insurance data within our risk management system
• Process invoices for payment of insurance policies and fees; record the financial transactions in the risk management system
• Report claims and lawsuits to the insurance carrier or third-party administrator
• Enter and maintain all first party and loss-sensitive liability claim data, including new losses, documents, correspondence and invoices in the risk management system
• Ensure loss runs are received and imported into the risk management database on monthly basis
• Oversee insurance compliance of business partners, vendors and borrowers through supervision of external certificate tracking service; analyze non-compliance reports and resolve any insurance deficiencies
• Provide loss history records in support of insurance policy renewals, self-insurance and actuarial analysis, and departmental reporting
• Any other duties and special projects as business needs require

Requirements

• Proven experience in data management, preferably within the insurance industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data management software
• Experience performing claims administration at an insurance company, an insurance broker, or a risk management department at a corporation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and service providers
• Ability to work independently by paying attention to detail, prioritizing work and managing time in a deadline-driven environment
• Dedication to working in a team environment where transparency and collaboration are highly valued

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in Riskonnect ClearSight RMIS platform is a plus
