Responsibilities

  • Research third-party databases and other data sources, analyze information and make determination on customers COT assignment.
  • Determine COT assignment in compliance with established business standards and policies.
  • Create, update and maintain trade, commercial, sales representative and other critical customer master records with appropriate Class of Trade (COT) assignment.
  • Work closely with the Chargeback team to resolve customer eligibility issues.
  • Determine the root cause of issues and proposed mitigation.
  • Work closely with managers and internal partners to ensure appropriate COT assignment and accurate classification of sales and discount transactions for government pricing calculations.
  • Provide analytical support for SOX inquiries and ensure adherence to SOX and audit controls.
  • Analyze current operating practices and procedures with an emphasis on process improvement.
  • Perform testing and support in the SAP and Model N systems as needed.
  • Participate in special projects as needed to support business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in one of the following: business analysis, financial analysis, audit, contract administration, or master data administration.
  • Experience with analytical techniques to determine reasonableness of data, trends and the root cause of issues.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills and has dealt with both internal and external customers while obtaining the know-how to prompt them for complete/accurate information.
  • Experienced with SAP and Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Exposure to Model N or a similar system is a plus.
  • Pharmaceutical industry and relevant functional experience is preferred.
