As a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer, you'll design and plan network systems by providing specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. You'll apply your extensive technical expertise to provide specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Responsibilities
- Design and plan network systems by providing specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
- Provide specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for efficient solutions.
- Act as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, hubs, bridges and gateways.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one discipline/field with a working knowledge in multiple adjacent disciplines/fields.
