Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED and 9 years of accounting experience, including 2 years of prolonged intellectual instruction in Accounting or Finance
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area and 7 years of professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline and 5 years of experience
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area and 3 years of experience
  • Strong understanding of general ledger processes and financial consolidation
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with PPE requirements

Responsibilities

  • Perform the monthly closing of general ledgers, including journal entry preparation, account analysis, and reconciliation.
  • Complete monthly consolidation of financial results across multiple business units and ensure accurate ledger reconciliation.
  • Coordinate accounting and financial activities across segments and assist in preparing management reports and ad hoc requests.
  • This role may occasionally require work in a mine, outdoor, or manufacturing plant setting.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
