About The Position
Comfrt is a rapidly expanding DTC apparel brand focused on stylish, elevated basics that promote mental health and well-being. This role reports directly to the VP of Finance and is responsible for overseeing the month-end close process, managing the general ledger, implementing financial controls, and ensuring adherence to GAAP.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of accrual accounting and GAAP.
- Experience using an ERP.
- Proficiency with Excel (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review reconciliations.
- Support timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
- Maintain audit-ready workpapers, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Respond to auditor requests and assist with walkthroughs and testing.
- Reconcile inventory AP subledgers to the general ledger.
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to resolve pricing, quantity, and timing discrepancies.
- Support inventory costing accuracy and cutoff during month-end close.
