About The Position

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, general ledger activities, asset management, and accounting operations to ensure accurate and timely financial information. This role partners with accounting leadership to support financial analysis, maintain internal controls, and improve accounting processes while ensuring compliance with GAAP and corporate accounting policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3–5+ years of financial accounting experience
• Experience with general ledger reconciliations and month-end close activities
• Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Nice To Haves

• experience with ERP and reporting systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day financial reporting, variance analysis, asset management, and cost analysis
• Manage monthly asset accounting activities, including depreciation, net book value reporting, and asset activity reporting
• Prepare journal entries and perform general ledger account reconciliations
• Investigate account variances and ensure accuracy of financial balances
• Support financial statement preparation and analysis
• Assist with internal controls, SOX compliance, and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
• Support ongoing improvements to accounting systems and reporting processes
• Collaborate with leadership to monitor accounting goals and operational performance
• Assist with additional accounting projects and responsibilities as needed
