About The Position

This position serves as the primary owner of Tyson’s global lease accounting software and plays a critical role in driving financial accuracy, technical compliance, and cross-functional collaboration. A key objective for this role is partnering with other Finance, Accounting, and Treasury teams to develop and support a global Center of Excellence (COE) for Leasing. This role offers a high-visibility platform within Corporate Accounting, providing a unique vantage point to learn Tyson's end-to-end global processes. It is designed for an individual with a strong desire to learn, offering an exceptional runway to expand technical expertise, master complex system workflows, and accelerate career growth.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in an academic field directly related and essential to this job (Accounting or Finance degree preferred).
3 plus years of related experience preferred.
Demonstrated success in streamlining internal processes.
Documenting complex processes.
Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
Working knowledge of SAP and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications preferred including the ability to work with large data sets.
Strong written presentation and verbal Communication Skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

Power BI a plus.
Certified Public Accountant, eligible to sit for CPA exam, preferred, but not required.
