As a Senior Accountant, you are responsible for supporting the subsidiary’s finance and accounting operations. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with internal controls, and timely execution of accounting functions. You will report directly to the Controller and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain financial integrity.

Requirements

  • BS Degree in Accounting/Finance
  • 3-5 years minimum experience.
  • Excellent skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and dealing with IT issues related to financial close and reporting.
  • Ability to handle hard deadlines and willing to work additional hours when necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and accurate
  • Advanced Excel skills required, including lookups and pivot tables.
  • Good understanding of accounting concepts and the working of the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.
  • Provide back up and support to the various accruals as may be required from time to time.
  • Prepare and complete various balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to ensure the accuracy of reported account balances and prevent the occurrence of “out of period” adjustments.
  • Prepare other financial analysis as required in order to provide management.
  • Support the internal and external audit process, by providing required workpaper documentation to support company Balance Sheet and P&L balances and related activity.
  • Performs ongoing review and monitoring of compliance status regarding accounting related internal control procedures (assist the manager with any requests as needed)
  • Develop relationships and manage communications with KDA management and auditors.
  • Assists with “ad hoc” projects as required including enhancements to the company’s financial reporting system capability.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Manager.
  • Complete all bank reconciliations and monitor bank account balances.
  • Follow-up on bank errors, NSF checks, discrepancies, and unreconciled items on bank statement.
  • Assist Managers in the preparation of parent company reporting package requirements on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis (such AR, AP, Inventory reports).
  • Provide support in the Accounts payable invoice validation process.
