About the position
The Senior Accountant, Statutory Reporting at Providence Health Plan is responsible for preparing and reviewing monthly account reconciliations and journal entries. Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations and journal entries.
- Act as a subject matter expert on specific areas of accounting applications or functions, such as banking, revenue, medical expense, and specific lines of business.
- Implement and comply with System Financial Compliance and Control Policies, including Technical Accounting Bulletins.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in the health care industry.

- Graduate-level education or a combination of equivalent education and relevant work experience.
- Leadership experience.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting.
- 1+ years of statutory reporting experience.
