About the position

The position at ImmunityBio involves comprehensive responsibilities within manufacturing operations and supply chain management, focusing on financial reporting, cost analysis, and inventory management. The role requires collaboration across various departments to ensure accurate financial data and support the company's mission of developing innovative therapies for cancer treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly financial information utilizing applicable support systems.
  • Assist with month-end closing including reconciliation of perpetual inventories to the general ledger.
  • Track daily work items assigned in D365.
  • Investigate and report on inventory adjustments.
  • Support cost roll as needed and new product costing.
  • Assist Cost Director with annual budget process and annual physical inventories.
  • Support internal customers by researching questions and investigating variances on the financial statements.
  • Ensure proper retention, filing, and handling of accounting records.
  • Prepare other reports and assist in special projects and analysis as required or requested by the manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field with emphasis in accounting required.
  • 5+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Experience working in Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical companies.
  • ERP experience preferably Microsoft Dynamic 365.
  • Must have cost accounting background or willingness to learn and a strong understanding of GAAP.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Innovative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Strong organizational abilities and adept at managing multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
