About the position

The Senior Account Manager will ensure long term success by creating and implementing both short and long term strategic goals, launch new products, and develop sound territory plans from an overall business perspective. The role will be responsible to drive demand of the Innvictis branded products through SGS retail & wholesale outlets.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the Innvictis Portfolio to SGS personnel within assigned territory
  • Be the trusted contact for Regional Manager, Market Manager, & Crop Advisor
  • Act as Agronomic Expert within defined region
  • Serve as the Voice of Customer to Innvictis Marketing & Leadership
  • Service and support full Innvictis product line
  • Develop and execute a long-term business plan on an annual basis that optimizes product development and maximizes portfolio profitability
  • Promote and represent the Innvictis brand to SGS retail and wholesale customers
  • Deliver marketing execution, brand promotion and positioning at the field level to expand Innvictis sales
  • Develop and execute volume growth strategies that are aligned and consistent with overall product objectives
  • Evaluate product pricing to achieve profit maximization
  • Execute annual portfolio forecast process with SGS Regional and Market managers
  • Aid in product development activities including agronomic research and data set development, educational content, marketing programs, materials and brand value development

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university
  • 8+ years related experience and/or training
  • In-depth knowledge of the Agribusiness products portfolio, manufacturing, product costs, logistics cost, territories, customers, geographies, competitor products and capabilities
  • Knowledge of the agricultural marketplace, industry, purchasing, and logistics
  • A comprehensive understanding of sales and marketing functions
  • Good planning, customer service and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and works without direct supervision
  • Ability to lead and influence others effectively
  • Wide network of strong relationships externally and internally
