About the position

The Senior Account Executive at Informatica is responsible for directly selling enterprise software solutions and guiding incremental license and subscription revenue. This role involves developing relationships within assigned accounts and maximizing Informatica's footprint, collaborating with various internal teams and external partners. The position requires extensive travel to customer locations, with travel expectations up to and exceeding 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Expand sales within existing large customer accounts while building relationships with decision-makers.
  • Develop a strategic and comprehensive business plan for each account, identifying core customer requirements and mapping the value of Informatica's solutions.
  • Document customer contact and activity data within CRM/Marketing software.
  • Accountable for accurate forecasting and regular quarterly revenue delivery.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop account plans, including events and seminars.

Requirements

  • Expert-level experience in sales and resolving complex issues creatively.
  • Deep industry knowledge of customer decision-making processes and goals.
  • Comprehensive understanding of business and technical contexts of main accounts.
  • Strong consultative effectiveness and ability to establish trust with customers.
  • Knowledge of selling SaaS, Data Warehousing, Database, and Business Intelligence software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with executive-level customer decision makers, including CXO levels.
  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background.
