About The Position

Our vertically integrated Private Equity group is currently seeking an ambitious Senior Account Executive with experience working with in the Financial Institution / Private Equity sector. The position would be to support the PE Service team while working at a consultative and strategic level with the Insured(s) to develop and execute on a structured renewal process inclusive of Property, Casualty, Management Liability, Cyber/Privacy Liability and Professional Liability coverage for the portfolio companies. The position is located in our Berkeley Heights, NJ / Bryant Park, NY office but offers the flexibility of a hybrid work environment.

Requirements

  • 7+ years related experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of all lines of commercial insurance coverage.
  • Working with Private Equity clients and portfolio companies is beneficial.
  • 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Completion of one or more CPCU exams preferred.
  • Valid NJ/ NY State Property & Casualty Insurance license.
  • Strong analytics and ability to think strategically and work in a highly organized fashion.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude.
  • Excellent Excel/Spreadsheet & Word proficiency.
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients and carriers.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline driven environment.
  • Strong presentation skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of marketplace and on-line quoting.
  • Ability to travel in a limited capacity as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all on-going services customarily required for Middle Market clients.
  • Coordinate brokerage and client services (contract review and guidance, coordinating actuarial services, claims and loss prevention services as required).
  • Work with the Producer and client team, developing an understanding of the clients' business, strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs.
  • Create detailed renewal insurance exhibits in Excel format to include pricing and exposure exhibits/comparisons, summary of terms and conditions and other pertinent program structure details.
  • Responsible for the execution of the renewal strategy in accordance with client instructions.
  • Collaborate and deliver, alongside the Producer, presenting a detailed renewal proposal.
  • Responsible for facilitating the claims process - working closely with internal claims resources.
  • Responsible for marketing, including advising customers regarding renewals and recommending coverage/products/risk control approaches.
  • Responsible for managing existing client acquisitions/mergers and coordinating/presenting a go forward insurance program.
