About The Position

Seeking an experienced security officer for a part-time day shift position. This role requires working Sundays each week from 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with 12-hour shifts. The job is located near the Mesa Gateway Airport in Mesa. The primary duties involve patrolling a large warehouse facility, including both cart and foot patrols, to observe and report, deter unauthorized persons, and check for security issues such as open doors, damage, or lights out. Detailed reporting using the Silvertrac app is mandatory for all activities and incidents. The officer must be able to work alone at night and maintain a clean work area. A clean driving record and a valid driver's license are required.

Requirements

Current AZ unarmed guard card.
Minimum of 2-3 years of security experience (military experience accepted in lieu of security experience).
Clean driving record.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to work alone at night.
Proficiency in using the Silvertrac app for reporting.

Responsibilities

Patrolling a large warehouse facility with multiple warehouses.
Conducting patrols primarily via cart, with some foot patrols required to check doors and gates.
Observing and reporting any suspicious activity or issues.
Deterring vandals, homeless individuals, and other unauthorized persons.
Performing a minimum of two hourly checks each hour, logging all activities in Silvertrac.
Checking buildings and doors for security.
Reporting issues such as lights out, damage, open doors/gates, leaks, fires, or broken windows.
Calling police, fire, and ambulance as needed.
Working alone at night.
Cleaning up after oneself.
Using Silvertrac for all reporting and incident reporting.
