The Security Operator role involves providing alarm and incident monitoring, dispatching, and emergency messaging for a global organization. This position requires quick and efficient responses to alarm events and customer inquiries, ensuring safety and compliance with standard operating procedures. The role is critical in maintaining a secure environment for over 100,000 people across various locations worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Provide alarm and incident monitoring and dispatching globally 24/7.
• Respond to all alarm events and incoming calls regarding customer alarms quickly and efficiently.
• Action/respond to both internal and external customer emails.
• Answer all incoming calls promptly and effectively in a professional manner.
• Follow through and take ownership of all queries where possible.
• Work unsupervised while maintaining professionalism.
• Contribute to a safe and healthy workplace by ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Take practical steps to ensure personal health and safety at work and the safety of others.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the security or technology industry.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, Word).
• Analytical and organized with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience within the SOC environment (preferred).
• Security, military, law enforcement, or emergency services experience (preferred).
• Must be a U.S. citizen or have legal right to work in the U.S.
