About the position
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team, responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, effective incident response, and a commitment to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify potential security threats.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Prepare detailed incident reports for any security breaches or unusual activities.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns.
Requirements
- Proficiency in conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.
- Experience in loss prevention strategies within a security context.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff and the public.
- D&G License required.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in security for at least 3 years.
