Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening access requests, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit activity at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities according to post orders and client guidelines.
  • Monitor visitors, vendors, and deliveries, document arrivals and departures, and report unusual, suspicious, and/or unauthorized activity to the appropriate contact.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, controlled access points, and perimeter areas to help identify security-related concerns and policy violations.
  • Prepare clear activity logs and incident reports, communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership, and follow instructions related to restricted areas and hazardous location protocols.
