About The Position

Sunstates Security is currently hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Security Officers for in Decatur, IL. Various days and shifts are available! These positions offer a pay rate of $18.75/hr, with weekly pay. Shifts: Days and hours can vary depending on operational needs. 1st shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM 2nd shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM 3rd shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

Requirements

Be able to obtain a PERC card.
Excellent customer service skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Willing and able to work holidays, weekends, and in all weather conditions.
Ability to pass criminal background and drug screen pre-hire.
Must have availability to work all shifts, mornings, evenings, and overnights for Flex positions.
Must have reliable transportation.
High School diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Security officer, law enforcement, and/or military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
