Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify concerns for follow-up.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious behavior and/or policy violations, and document incidents according to site requirements.
Support a professional environment within a fast-paced technology-focused location by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and/or local responders when needed.
