You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials or visitor information as directed by site procedures, and report access-related issues or suspicious behavior.
  • Support a professional environment at a technology-focused location by assisting with directions, answering routine questions, and communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and/or contractors.
