About The Position
Seeking an experienced security officer for a part-time day shift position. This role involves patrolling a large warehouse facility near Mesa Gateway Airport in Mesa, Arizona. The primary shift is Sundays from 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM, a 12-hour shift. The position requires the ability to work alone at night and maintain a clean work area.
Requirements
- Current AZ unarmed guard card.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of security experience (military experience may be substituted).
- Clean driving record.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work alone at night.
- Proficiency in using the Silvertrac app for reporting.
Responsibilities
- Patrolling a large warehouse facility with multiple warehouses.
- Conducting patrols primarily via cart, with some foot patrols required to check doors, inside buildings, and gates.
- Observing and reporting on the patrol location, deterring vandals, homeless individuals, and other unauthorized persons.
- Performing a minimum of two hourly checks each hour, logging all activities in Silvertrac.
- Checking for issues such as lights out, damage, open doors/gates, leaks, fires, and broken windows, and reporting each issue found.
- Calling police, fire, and ambulance as needed.
- Working alone at night.
- Cleaning up after oneself.
- Utilizing the Silvertrac app for all reporting and incident reporting.
