Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting relevant activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout guest areas, lobbies, hallways, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Support hotel and resort operations by assisting with directional guidance, reporting maintenance-related concerns, and communicating clearly with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.
