As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Lobby in Camden, NJ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting guests, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and documenting arrivals and departures in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, support front desk communications, and complete logs, reports, and other administrative tasks related to daily activity at the location.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive activity by maintaining a professional front desk presence and following established security-related procedures.
