As a Security Officer Overnights Full Time in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, checkpoints, baggage areas, employee spaces, parking locations, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry when required, and report suspicious behavior, unattended items, and/or potential hazards according to post instructions.
• Support daily operations at a transportation location by documenting incidents, completing required reports, and providing visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disruptions.
