About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Management Company in Allston MA. Saturdays 1 PM - 9 PM (Option to pick up more shifts). Starting Pay is $22.85 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training. Ideal Candidate is Comfortable With Customer Service, Alarms and Access Control. Life doesn’t always follow a fixed schedule. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while following post instructions and reporting protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Support staff, patients, and visitors with directions, information, and incident assistance while maintaining a visible presence and documenting security-related activities as needed.
