This position is located on the Island of Kaua'i (STATE OF HAWAI'I). As a Airport Security Professional in Lihue, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 21+ years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high-traffic locations for unusual behavior, and report observations, hazards, and/or incidents in accordance with post orders.
• Assist with directing the public, answering questions, and supporting orderly movement at the location while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns.
• Safeguard the airport, staff, and its facilities.
• Drive, patrol, check, and secure doors.
