About The Position

At Securitas, on-site Security Officers are the foundation of our organization. Our Officers are trained to provide a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments, help safeguard people, property, and information. We are looking for dynamic individuals who can provide outstanding customer service, control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required, monitor CCTV, and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Driver's License required for some locations.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.

Nice To Haves

• Former Military / Law Enforcement Encouraged To Apply!!
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client’s premises.
• Provide detailed written witness reports.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
