Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and/or site policy concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity, assist with access control practices, and document daily activities, observations, and/or incident information in required reports.
• Support property operations by helping to address tenant questions, reporting hazards or suspicious activity, and following post orders for after-hours access, deliveries, and/or contractor presence.
