As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a dynamic automotive location. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures and supporting access activity at an automotive manufacturing location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter to help identify suspicious, unsafe, and/or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor documentation, and help support authorized access for personnel, vendors, and deliveries.
  • Document daily activity, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns in required logs and reports, and communicate security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
