As a Security Officer Access Point Driver in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location where you will manage access control, monitor site activity, and conduct routine patrols while providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A TSA issued TWIC is required.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site access requirements.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or conditions that may require security-related attention.
Support security-related operations within a chemical and petrochemical environment by helping to control restricted area access, following post orders, and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate site personnel.
