About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Team in Boynton Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, common areas, and perimeter areas.
Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, helping to deter loss, trespassing, and other unwanted activity through visible presence and timely reporting.
Assist with access control, closing procedures, and customer assistance as needed while supporting a professional environment throughout the location.
