As a Security Officer TWIC Patrol Driver Role in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access and badge activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and/or potential hazards.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor requirements, and document site activity in accordance with post orders and reporting procedures.
  • Complete routine reports and logs, support emergency and evacuation protocols when appropriate, and report maintenance concerns, spills, and/or suspicious conditions to the proper personnel.
