About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Destin, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. In this people-first role, you will support residents and guests with strong communication and customer service while bringing reliability, integrity, and teamwork to every shift.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and reporting security-related issues through the proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and amenity areas to help to deter unauthorized access, assist with visitor-related questions, and support property rules and community expectations.
• Communicate with residents, guests, and/or local responders as needed during alarms, disturbances, medical calls, and other property-related events.
