Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor the movement of visitors, vendors, and/or drivers entering and leaving the location, following post orders and reporting security-related issues, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by documenting incidents, completing required reports, and relaying pertinent information during shift changes and/or when requested.
