Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site protocols and operational requirements.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and report maintenance, lighting, and/or access control issues to the appropriate site representatives.
