Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Possess 3 or more years of security-related, military, or law enforcement experience, or an associate’s degree in criminal justice.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and activities according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points, noting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other designated areas of the financial institution location to help to deter unauthorized access and support orderly operations.
  • Assist with access control, visitor screening, and employee entry procedures while maintaining a professional presence and providing clear directions and assistance as needed.
