Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A minimum of 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience is required, or a college degree is required.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
A guard card is required.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
Screen employees, visitors, and/or personal items in accordance with site protocols and report unusual activity or prohibited items to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established security-related procedures.
Monitor entry points, verify access authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent screening and observation practices.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, as directed by site needs and working conditions.
