Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control/badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help identify unusual activity and security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access for employees and deliveries, and help to deter unauthorized persons from restricted and operational areas.
Support loss prevention and operational goals by observing for policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or damaged property, and communicating findings according to site procedures.
