As a Security Officer - Overnight Mobile Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or resident concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe property conditions, assisting with visitor interactions, rule awareness, and/or directions as needed in a courteous and professional manner.
- Support Allied Universal and site personnel by communicating clearly, maintaining accurate logs, and following post orders for residential location operations.
