About The Position

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity, access issues, and/or operational concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, trailer yards, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery traffic, verifying credentials, documenting site activity, and communicating clearly with site contacts regarding security-related matters.
• Support day-to-day operations at a busy logistics and distribution location by observing surroundings, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with site rules, directions, and/or general information as needed.
