Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, patients, staff, and vendors, following site-specific access procedures, and supporting a professional arrival experience at a healthcare location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence.
  • Answer phones, provide directions, and communicate with site contacts regarding deliveries, appointments, and/or visitor questions in a calm, service-focused manner.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and assist with emergency response activities in accordance with site policies.
  • Complete required reports and documentation related to front desk activity, incidents, and other security-related matters, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
